Sunday bulletin for February 20th 2011- Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

NOTICE- Effective March 1^st, 2011 Mass intention offering at Holy Redeemer Cathedral parish will now be $10.00.

1.) We welcome the team from New York, who are repairing windows and doors at our parish school. Let us continue to pray for them and their generous work.

2.) There is a second collection at all Masses this weekend for the St. Vincent de Paul society. Please be generous and contribute to the good works of the society.

3.) Congratulations to the girls from Holy Redeemer School who won nationally.

4.) Starting February 28^th, parishioners are asked to pray a prayer for vocations and prayer to St. Michael the archangel after the morning and evening Mass during the week. The prayer sheets will be provided and you are welcome to keep them. 

5.) First Holy Communion and Confirmation classes for those children who attend non-Catholic primary school is being offered every Saturday 9:00am in the meeting room behind the cathedral.

Sunday February 13, 2011- Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

NOTICE- Effective March 1^st, 2011 Mass intention contribution at Holy Redeemer Cathedral parish will now be $10.00.

1.) Congratulations to our boys and girls from Std III, Holy Redeemer School, they received First Holy Communion on Sunday February 13^th.

2.) There will be a second collection the following weekend for the St. Vincent de Paul society. Please be generous and contribute to the good works of the society.

3.) Many thanks to our parishioners who contributed in the can-food drive held by the St. Vincent de Paul Society last December. You can still contribute to this worthy cause.

4.) There will be a Charismatic Mass (in English) on Thursday February 17^th at 7:00pm in the Cathedral. All are welcome!

5.) The team from New York will be in our parish on Sunday February 13^th. They will be doing much needed repairs at the parish school. Let us pray for them and their generous work.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.) Holy Redeemer school children from STD III will receive first Holy Communion on Sunday February 13^th at a special Mass at 7:00am.

2.) There will be a Charismatic Mass (in English) on Thursday February 17^th at 7:00pm in the Cathedral. All are welcome!

3.) Diocesan Development Fund will be collected in the coming weeks, please be generous and contribute to the works of our diocese.

4.) A team from New York will come in February to do some repairs in the parish school.
